Aloha Lions Ohana,
I hope everyone is having a great start to their November. As we go into the month of gratitude we wanted to say thanks to all of you for supporting your children, our staff, and the community of Kalihi. We also want to emphasize the thanks we have for our students who remind us every day why we come to work with their unique personalities, passionate desire for learning, and great hearts. I have just a few reminders for you tonight.
- Starting tomorrow, through Tuesday of next week 11/14 we have our Parent Teacher Conferences and school gets off every day at 12:30. Please remember to pick up your child(ren) on time and don't forget to come to the conference.
- Friday is Veteran's Day (observed) and there is no school. Mahalo to all those who have served.
- We are starting our stocking stuffer fundraiser with our Samurai Ice Cream and snacks fundraiser. You will all receive a order form this week. These are amazing snacks that work great to give as stocking stuffers or co-worker gifts and of course all profits go back to our students!
- Lastly, basketball practice this week is canceled due to Veterans Day.
