Aloha Lions Ohana,
Today I have a very important message for families along with a few reminders.
- It has been brought to our attention that a number of students have been watching a show on Netflix called "Squid Games". On the surface this sounds like a game show, however, it is extremely violent, graphic, and disturbing. No students under the age of 18 should be allowed to watch it without parent supervision, if at all. Please consider restricting your child viewing options for this and any other inappropriate shows that are coming up more frequently recently, such as a number of anime shows that look like cartoons, but can be very graphic as well.
- This Saturday from 8-11 or 12 we are still in need of a couple more parents who can help us with our Yellow Fruit Road project with digging and moving dirt. Please join us, the more hands we have the faster and easier this will be.
- Tomorrow at 4:00 pm is our quarter 1 School Community Council (SCC) meeting. At this meeting, we will be going over a report we recently created for our school to get reaccredited that will help guide our school for the next six years. Please join us online at meet.google.com/rpx-tgbq-kex
- Also tomorrow our monthly newsletter and our Parent Teacher Conference confirmation letters will be going home. Please be on the lookout for them.
- Friday is the last day of the quarter. There is no school next week. We will all return on Monday, October 18th.
