Happy Star Wars Day, or shall I say, “May the fourth be with you!” I have a few announcements to make:
#1. #maythe4thchallenge: In honor of May 4th our last challenge is based on the Star Wars theme. I hope you participate! Please click on the link to find out more information. The link is: http://bit.ly/mayfourthchallenge. The challenge is also on our website, kwes.org.The deadline is Monday, May 10th.
#2. This is Teacher Appreciation Week. Show your love and appreciation for your teacher this week. Here are some ideas: #1. Write a letter or draw a picture to express your gratitude. #2. Share a family appreciation (email, photo, video, note, etc) with your teacher. #3. Do something kind for your teacher. There are many other ways to say thank you to your teacher.
#3. Keiki Wellness Challenge, May 1st - 7th. Show your healthy lifestyle by completing activities on the scorecard you got from school. You may also download the form found on our website, kwes.org. More information about the challenge is found there. A prize is given upon completion.
#4. PTA Panda Express Fundraiser: Thank you for supporting our PTA fundraiser by eating at Panda Express in April. We made $324.83 for our PTA.
It gives me great joy to see our students on campus and online. Please continue to encourage them to come to school on-time and do their very best. Thank you, parents, for your support. Let us finish strong because we are the lions. We are the future!
