Approximately 50grade 4students will be randomly selected to participate. Each selected student will take only one subject area assessment (either the mathematics or the reading assessment).
Two testing sessions will be scheduled on your school's assigned date. Each session is approximately 2 hours (which includes transition time, instructions, and completion of survey questions). You will collaborate with the NAEP Field Team staff to arrange the logistics and schedule that suits your school's needs.
NAEP representatives will be contacting you to coordinate the steps necessary to prepare for administering the assessment. On your school's assigned testing date, the NAEP representatives will be bringing all necessary materials and equipment, including sanitized tablets on which students take the assessment.
